About This Position The Warehouse Operation Manager is responsible for all tasks of the warehouse including: shipping, receiving, inventory control, administering policies and programs and maintaining supplies for the Distribution center. You will work onsite in the warehouse. You will report to the Operations Manager.
Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities Hire, orient, trainsand issues corrective action (when applicable) to team members. Approve payroll weekly. Equip the warehouse with racking, proper lighting, heat and air, proper work environment and any other warehouse related items. Ship UPS/FED EX/international/trucking control. Sourcing, negotiating and maintaining lowest freight rate and costs. Manage the contractor compliance program. Manage warehouse personnel. Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.
