Additional Information About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile
Float Technician to join our Oncology/Infusion Pharmacy team. The individual will play a crucial role in three primary workflows at a NCCN/NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center: Ambulatory Infusion, Investigational Drug Services, and Specialty Retail. The working schedule is Monday through Friday with hours of operation typically from 7 AM to 7 PM.
This position requires a technician licensed in both Illinois and Missouri.

- Role Purpose
- The Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient 3, under the direct supervision a of staff pharmacist and according to standard procedures, provides cross coverage for multiple technician competencies or responsibilities within a focus area. This position serves as a department resource to answer questions and assists in resolving more complex issues. This position's responsibilities may include preparing medication orders, assisting in dispensing and transporting medications, conducting complex sterile and/or non-sterile compounding, inventory management, training, the use of various automated/electronic systems, and maintaining the required documentation & records.
