As a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op at Lexington Medical, you will design, test, and document parts for the AEON surgical stapler. This is a six-month, full-time co-op on our engineering team in Bedford, Massachusetts, and the projects are real ones: components going into a product used in operating rooms, and processes running on our own production floor.
The work moves from CAD and drawings through fixture builds, testing, and the documentation that has to stand up to regulatory scrutiny, so you finish the term with a clear picture of how a medical device actually gets made.
