We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, contract negotiations and client relationships while delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget,
Requirements
- Duties and Responsibilities: · Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects.
- · Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and work plans.
- · Coordinate and communicate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- · Oversee contract administration, including RFPs, bid analysis, and change orders.
- · Monitor project progress and performance, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
- · Ensure compliance with local codes, building regulations, and safety standards.
- · Review construction documents and shop drawings for accuracy and feasibility.
- · Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality and schedule adherence.
- · Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
- · Maintain detailed documentation, including daily reports, meeting minutes, and close-out packages.
- Position Requirements: · 5–10 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- · Proven experience managing commercial projects valued from $1M–$50M+.
- · In-depth knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
- · Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, P6, Autodesk, Bluebeam).
- · Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- · Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction documents.
- · OSHA 30 certification required.
- · PMP or CCM certification is a plus.
- · Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- · Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- · Financial and contractual acumen.
