$5k Sign-On Bonus: Electro/Mechanical Technician III - 2nd Shift - Bayport, MN at Andersen Corporation | LAYIQ

Understand the hazards of and working on electrical components
Understand, troubleshoot and problem solve issues of basic complexity in advanced electrical/mechanical systems (PLC, Drives, Servo, HMI, CNC, etc.)
Test and perform preventative maintenance
· Journeyman or Master Electrician License required
· Advanced electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, reasoning and analytical problem-solving skills
· Competent at electrical building wiring installed to NFPA 70 electrical code
· 2-yr technical degree or equivalent past work experience.
· Continued technical training required each year
Understand basic electrical circuits and safely requirements
Understand basic function of PLC, drives and controls
Understand and operate a volt-ohm-millimeters (VOM) and non-contact voltage testers to properly test for energized electrical circuits
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY: Some heavy lifting required to replace motors, pumps, extruder screws, etc., at low frequency. Equipment is provided to move / manipulate heavy components
Occasionally lift /carry objects up to 50 pounds
Occasionally squat, crawl, reach above shoulders, kneel and balance
Requires repetitive action such as simple staring, grasping, firm grasping, and fine manipulating. (includes right and left hands)
Outside work required
High work from, ladders and platforms
Working in confined space conditions
Wearing the proper PPE
Handling hazardous waste wearing the appropriate PPE
Working near energized electric circuits
Working with various chemicals
Working near/on hot equipment/materials

PAY RANGE: $42.60 - $53.29

PROFIT SHARING: In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
