eSalon is seeking an experienced Compounder to join our Operations team manufacturing hair dye and hair care products. This role requires hands-on experience operating and controlling chemical compounding equipment, along with strong attention to detail, solid math skills, and the ability to follow precise instructions consistently. This position reports to the Lead Mechanical Engineer and works onsite at our El Segundo facility, Monday through Friday, 5:00AM - 1:30PM.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Accurately pre-weigh raw ingredients according to established formulas and strict weight-tolerance requirements to produce bulk hair color and developer products.
- Operate pumps, mixers, tanks, kegs, drums, and other compounding equipment throughout the production process.
- Perform tank filling and cleaning, as well as drum and keg changeouts for bulk hair color batches.
- Partner with the Warehouse team to move and store raw materials, maintain accurate inventory records, and conduct periodic cycle counts.
- Complete production and batch records accurately and document all required batch data.
