Medical Gas Installers are essential to our healthcare project success, ensuring safe and compliant systems that support patient care.
The Medical Gas Installer (Louisiana Certified) is responsible for the installation, brazing, and testing of medical gas piping systems in healthcare facilities. This role requires a current Louisiana Medical Gas Piping Installer License, strict compliance with national codes and Louisiana regulations, and a high attention to detail.
Louisiana defines medical gas installation as work involving piping systems transporting gases for medical purposes.
Installers must hold an SPBLA‑issued license and pass both written and manual examinations.
Installers must maintain brazing qualification in accordance with NFPA 99C.
