Roberts Oxygen, a trusted name in industrial, medical, and specialty gases and equipment, is looking for a dedicated Distribution Supervisor to join our team in Portsmouth, VA. As a Distribution Supervisor, you'll be a key player in providing safe, timely, and accurate deliveries—while building great relationships with customers and working closely with our internal production teams. You will utilize planning, coordination and supervisory skills to develop of drivers through daily coaching on the plant docks and in trucks.
We will look to you for assistance with or back-up driving coverage as applicable for the Distribution department (routing, dispatching, scheduling, maintenance and roadside service) and Inside Sales.
Requirements

Your sound leadership and management skills promote a positive work environment where drivers and customers count on you for timely route dispatching and problem solving. You have working knowledge cryogenics, DOT, and FMCSA regulations. You are team oriented and a self-started who values safety, accuracy, and professionalism.
