High School Diploma or equivalency required.
Intermediate competency in Windows operating environment using MS Office applications, database, e-mail, internet programs and electronic health record platform.
Understand cultural family differences and values with the ability to remain non-judgmental.
Understand HIPPA privacy laws and adhere to them.
Demonstrated competency in written, verbal and computational skills to present and document records in accordance with program standards.
Excellent interpersonal skills required.
Ability and willingness to travel, in some instances with clients in agency vehicles.
Ability to work with a diverse population of urban, suburban and rural cultures and with community members from varying socioeconomic backgrounds.
Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
Proficient with online technology systems, including electronic health records.
Valid NYS Driver’s License and a clean MVR preferred.
Must attend and complete all assigned training and apply learned skills/techniques/interventions.
Must be self-motivated.
Experience with homelessness/unhoused individuals is preferred.
Experience working with adults who are living with mental health and/or substance abuse is preferred.
Valid CPR / First Aide Certification preferred.
Regular and steady attendance is a requirement for all positions.
