Book-Keeper

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks skills to support our day-to-day financial record-keeping. This role ensures accurate entry and maintenance of financial data, smooth processing of transactions, and timely reporting. The ideal candidate is organized, trustworthy, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks (Online or Desktop version)
• Record daily transactions including invoices, payments, receipts, and expenses
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly
• Prepare basic financial reports including balance sheets and P&L summaries
• Maintain organized digital and physical financial files
• Support payroll preparation by ensuring accurate hours/records (if applicable)
• Assist with vendor and customer account updates
• Monitor due dates for payments and follow up as needed
• Provide administrative support for financial audits or year-end close
• Work closely with management to ensure financial data accuracy

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role
• Proficiency with QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop)
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills—able to clarify issues and follow instructions
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
• Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets is a plus
