FHU is currently looking for a summer intern to join us in our Omaha, Nebraska or Des Moines, Iowa office working on transportation planning projects by assisting with the following:

technical analyses and written documentation as a part of teams working on projects multi-modal transportation plans for cities and counties, corridor studies, transit development plans, bicycle and pedestrian plans, and environmental assessments conducting research into various transportation planning topics client and stakeholder meetings and presentations in a supporting role public engagement support for planning projects

Requirements

• Graduate or upper-level undergraduate student in Urban/Regional Planning or related field
• Strong computer skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Available for 3-month timeframe
• Preferred Skills
• Previous coursework and demonstrated interest in transportation planning
