Director, ADME

YOUR ROLE:

As Director , ADME at Enveda, you’ll build and lead a high-impact ADME function that helps move discovery programs from promising chemistry to development-ready candidates. Reporting to the Chief Scientific Officer, you’ll partner closely with Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacology, Non-Clinical, and other scientific teams to define DMPK strategy, generate decision-quality data, and accelerate candidate selection.

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity where you’ll shape Enveda’s ADME capabilities, scientific strategy, and team while directly influencing the advancement of our drug discovery pipeline.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Provide scientific leadership on ADME–SAR, partnering with Medicinal Chemistry teams to improve druggability and guide compound optimization.
• Define and execute DMPK strategies across early discovery, lead optimization, and candidate selection.
• Lead the design, execution, interpretation, and communication of in vitro and in vivo ADME studies, including PK/PD strategy and bioanalytical methods.
• Build and lead a high-performing ADME organization, including talent development, SOPs, scientific capabilities, lab operations, CAPEX/OPEX planning, data integrity, quality, safety, and audit readiness.
• WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:: PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacokinetics, Drug Metabolism, or a related scientific discipline.
• 15+ years of post-PhD experience in ADME/DMPK within drug discovery or development, with deep expertise across the discovery lifecycle.
• Demonstrated experience building and leading ADME/DMPK functions, including scientific strategy, team development, laboratory capabilities, and external partnerships.
• Strong scientific judgment and understanding of bioanalysis, PK/PD, regulatory expectations, data integrity, safety, and quality requirements, combined with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
