About the role:
The Mechanical Maintenance Technician serves the Advanced Automation Infrastructure team and is on the front line of ZT Systems' automated assembly operations, keeping the mechanical systems that move and position products running reliably. You’ll maintain and troubleshoot conveyance, pneumatic systems, motors, and mechanical equipment while responding quickly to equipment failures and preventing recurring issues.
This is an opportunity to build hands-on expertise at the center of next-generation manufacturing for one of the industry's leading hyperscale system integrators.
What you’ll do:
- Serve as the owner for conveyance, pneumatic systems, and mechanical equipment supporting automated production cells.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex conveyors, pneumatic stoppers, actuators, motors, gearboxes, bearings, sensors, and electromechanical systems.
- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities across approximately 40 conveyance cells, identifying equipment degradation before it results in downtime.
