Authorization Specialist – Brooklyn, NY
LBAPS is seeking an Authorization Specialist to support insurance authorization and verification processes. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple cases while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain and manage insurance authorizations
- Verify patient benefits and eligibility
- Track authorization status and renewals
- Coordinate with clinical, billing, and administrative teams
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Ensure timely processing of requests
Qualifications:
- Healthcare authorization experience preferred
