Role Summary
The Senior Manager of Brand Strategy & Integrated Marketing is a strategic, culturally connected marketer responsible for developing and driving integrated marketing strategies for key businesses within the Anthropologie Group portfolio.
In this role, you will serve as the strategic marketing lead for different Anthropologie Group businesses, deeply understanding its customer, product priorities, business goals, and growth opportunities and translating them into clear seasonal strategies and compelling customer facing stories. You will connect the dots across Merchandising, Creative, Brand, Social, Digital, PR, and Marketing Operations to ensure our biggest ideas come to life as cohesive, high impact customer experiences across owned, earned, and paid channels.
You are equal parts strategist and integrator: able to identify the insight behind an opportunity, articulate a clear point of view, prioritize what matters most, and then mobilize cross functional teams around a shared plan. You bring strong cultural and fashion instincts, an understanding of customer behavior, and the ability to balance elevated brand storytelling with commercial objectives.
Role Responsibilities
Brand & Seasonal Strategy
Develop seasonal and annual marketing strategies for assigned Anthropologie Group businesses, translating business priorities, customer insights, product opportunities, and cultural trends into clear marketing objectives and narratives.
Identify the most important customer moments, product stories, and cultural opportunities for the business and establish clear priorities for where marketing can have the greatest impact.
Translate broader Anthropologie brand strategy into differentiated, actionable plans for the assigned business while maintaining a cohesive overall brand experience.
Maintain a strong pulse on fashion, culture, social behavior, competitors, and emerging trends to identify opportunities for Anthropologie to participate in relevant conversations in a distinctive way.
Serve as the primary strategic marketing partner to Merchandising, Buying, and Creative for the assigned business, ensuring marketing strategies begin with a clear understanding of the customer and commercial opportunity.
Develop integrated go-to-market plans that connect product, creative, social, digital, PR/earned media, paid media, talent and partnerships, and retail around a shared customer story.
Lead cross functional planning processes from strategy through execution, establishing clear objectives, roles, priorities, and measures of success.
Partner closely with channel leaders to ensure each channel plays a distinct role while collectively delivering a cohesive customer journey.
Identify opportunities for talent, creators, brand partnerships, and cultural collaborations that can extend reach, build credibility, and create conversation around priority stories.
Customer, Business & Performance Insights
Partner with Customer Analytics, Digital Marketing, and Media teams to understand customer behavior, business performance, campaign results, and brand health.
Translate data and insights into clear strategic implications and recommendations for future marketing plans.
Lead seasonal and campaign recaps, identifying what worked, what didn't, and where we can improve.
Establish clear KPIs for major initiatives, balancing brand building objectives with traffic, engagement, customer acquisition, conversion, and revenue goals.
Strategic Communication & Influence
Develop clear, compelling strategy presentations that simplify complex business and customer challenges into actionable plans.
Present recommendations to senior cross-functional partners and build alignment around key priorities.
Bring a strong point of view while remaining highly collaborative, helping teams make decisions and move from insight to action.
Role Qualifications
7+ years of experience in brand strategy, integrated marketing, retail, fashion, lifestyle, or a related field, with experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
Strong strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to translate customer and business insights into compelling marketing strategies.
Deep understanding of fashion, culture, consumer behavior, social media, and the evolving media landscape.
Proven experience developing integrated campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels.
Strong cross-functional leadership skills and ability to influence partners across Merchandising, Creative, Digital, and Marketing.
Commercially minded, with comfort using performance data to inform strategy and optimization.
Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with an ability to simplify complex ideas and inspire action.
Highly collaborative, curious, decisive, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment.
