Phlebotomist - Fresno Police Department -City of Fresno at Fresno Regional Workforce Development Board | LAYIQ

Applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications on or before the posted filing deadline in order to be placed in the qualified pool of candidates:
Possession of a high school diploma or GED
AND
One (1) year of full-time paid experience as a phlebotomist in an in-patient or out-patient setting.
Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician by the California State Department of Health Services is required at the time of appointment. Applicants who already possess the certificate at the time of application may attach a copy to their application.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
The work experience section MUST be completed with detailed duties, dates and weekly hours worked for each title held. Please SPECIFY THE PHLEBOTOMIST DUTIES with which you have experience on your application. Resumes will not be accepted in lieu of a completed employment application and will not be used to evaluate minimum requirements. Applications lacking a completed work experience section may be rejected.
Possession of a valid California Driver's License is required at time of appointment. Candidates considered for hire will be required to provide proof of a valid driver's license and current copy of their driving record.
The selected eligible candidates certified will be required to successfully pass a department interview, an extensive background investigation including Computer Voice Stress Analyzer (CVSA) and/or polygraph test, and a Department of Justice fingerprint prior to employment with the City of Fresno.
