As a Cell Leader for the 1st Shift at New Flyer, you will be responsible for leading a dedicated team in the manufacturing process of our high-quality transit buses. Your role is essential to maintaining production efficiency, ensuring safety measures are followed, and driving our continuous improvement initiatives. You will foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion safety within the cell by enforcing regulations, conducting safety training, and leading by example to create a culture of awareness.
- Implement and uphold lean manufacturing principles, conducting regular reviews and audits to support ongoing OPEX initiatives and drive efficiency.
- Oversee quality control processes within the cell, ensuring that team members conduct self-inspections and adhere to standards for first-time quality.
