Oxy-Acetylene Torch Brazer experienced in stainless steel aircraft parts.
Reading blueprints or technical schematics. Strong attention to detail to ensure the quality of each weld and the safety of the workplace.
Use torch brazing equipment as part of the fabrication process.
Measure and align workpieces using straightedges, clamps, and calipers.
Ensure compliance with established health/safety policies and regulations.
Carry out grinding and thermal cutting operations to obtain various textures and sizes for metal parts.
Operate power and hand tools such as arc welders, buffing machine, and scrapers.
Maintain good working knowledge of the welding characteristics of metals such as stainless steel, and Inconel.
Read and interpret welding blueprints, schematics, and codes.
Requirements
- Must be able to be fitted for a full and or partial face respirator
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Microsoft Office skills
