Part Time Companion - East Long Meadow, MA
A family in East Long Meadow, MA 01028 is seeking a reliable and caring companion for a young woman in a skilled-care facility.
Schedule:
Start Date:
ASAP
Weekday Hours:
Monday - Friday, 4pm - 7pm
Weekend Hours:
Saturday and Sundays, 10am - 4pm
*Family is open to one caregiver covering both shifts or separate caregivers for weekdays and weekends
Responsibilities:
- Provide socialization
- Engage in activities
- Accompany to meals
- Take her out to meals or errands (not needed at this moment)
Requirements:
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must be able to reliably commute
- Preferred: First aid/CPR certified
- Relevant background in non-medical companionship, mentoring, volunteering, or caregiving
- Positive, patient demeanor
Compensation
Compensation:
$35-$45 per hour (based on experience)
