The Security Services Unit in a hospital setting is dedicated to maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, staff, and assets. This unit operates 24/7 and is integral to ensure the hospital functions smoothly while addressing emergencies, preventing unauthorized access, and responding to incidents swiftly and effectively.
The Security Officer II helps maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, employees, and hospital property. This role patrols assigned areas, monitors security systems, responds to incidents and emergencies, enforces hospital policies, conducts investigations, and provides crisis intervention when appropriate . The Security Officer II also assists with training team members, supports departmental operations, and collaborates with leadership to promote a safe and secure healthcare environment.
