Respiratory Therapy Student Tech- PRN, Days
Status: PRN
Shift: First
**Every third weekend required**
Job Summary:
The respiratory care technician assesses, treats and monitors patients with respiratory diseases and conditions. This includes the delivery of medicated and non-medicated therapy as ordered by a provider. The respiratory care technician assists in departmental operations by assisting with supplies and equipment management.
Requirements:
- Must be actively enrolled in an AMA approved school of Respiratory Care.
- Must hold an active student “Limited Certificate” from the Kentucky Board for Respiratory Care.
- Must provide continuous proof of progression through the program via checklist.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required within 90 days of hire.
