Surgical Services Assistant (Operating Room)

40 Hours Weekly, Full Time, First Shift (Mon-Fri 9am-5:30pm)

Join our Operating Room team and help provide safe, efficient patient care throughout the surgical experience.

What You'll Do

• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Assist with patient transport, transfers, and positioning.
• Support surgeons, nurses, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists during procedures.
• Assist with room turnover, stocking supplies, and maintaining clean, organized work areas.
• Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and equipment safety standards.
• HANA Table
• Experience with the   HANA Surgical Table   is highly preferred. This role supports orthopedic procedures by:
• Setting up and operating the HANA table and accessories.
• Assisting with safe patient positioning and transfers.
• Monitoring patient safety during table movement and positioning.
• Cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining HANA equipment.
• Supporting surgeons and the perioperative team during orthopedic procedures.
• Participating in HANA table call coverage.

• Knowledge of orthopedic patient positioning preferred.
• Prior Operating Room Experience is strongly preferred.
• BCLS Required within 90 days of hire.
• Physical Requirements
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently bend, reach, stoop, kneel, push, and pull.
• Assist with patient transfers, movement, and positioning.
• Safely maneuver specialized surgical equipment, including the HANA table.
