Job Summary
The Manager, Carcass Merchandizing & Production Planning provides leadership and coordination across carcass merchandizing operations and production planning activities for the network. This role is responsible for co-managing the order queue, overseeing cattle flow and grade projections within scheduling systems, and ensuring timely, accurate information is available to support production decisions.
In addition, the position compiles recurring grade reports with actionable insights and trend analysis, partners closely with plant teams, Operations, USDA, and Production Planning to resolve issues and improve performance, and serves as a key resource for facility and managerial coverage during absences, emergencies, and weekend rotations. The role also supports consistency and compliance through audit oversight, training, and process improvement initiatives that strengthen operational continuity across locations.
