Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $122,600.00 - $204,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Job Description
The Privacy Governance Senior Manager leads execution across Cox Automotive's privacy compliance program, with a primary focus on building and advancing the organization's privacy engineering capabilities. This role manages a team of privacy engineers responsible for consent management infrastructure, cookie governance, opt-out mechanisms, and privacy library maintenance, while also driving broader privacy compliance operations across the enterprise.
The Senior Manager partners closely with Privacy Legal, Data strategy, Engineering, and Product stakeholders to ensure Cox Automotive's privacy practices are technically sound, operationally effective, and aligned with evolving regulatory requirements. A critical responsibility of this role is partnering closely with the broader privacy operations team to assess, onboard, and integrate brands and acquired entities into Cox Automotive's centralized privacy program and infrastructure.
This role advances privacy-by-design principles by embedding technical oversight and compliance rigor into the technology development lifecycle and operates with a high degree of autonomy, making independent decisions and resolving cross-functional disputes in the best interest of Cox Automotive.
