Software Configuration Engineer III - Lunar Permanence at Blue Origin | LAYIQ

BS in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field
5+ years of hands-on software configuration management experience in a technical environment
Deep understanding of Software Configuration Management principles, concepts, and implementation within Aerospace or Aviation domains
Demonstrated proficiency with version control systems and change management/agile planning tools such as GitLab, Jira, SVN, ClearCase or Rational Suite, Jenkins etc.
Strong working knowledge of software configuration management technologies and software build and release management, including IT infrastructure, development/scripting, Proficiency with both Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems
Desired Qualifications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate across organizational boundaries
Hands-on experience with PLM tools such as Windchill, Agile PLM, Teamcenter etc.
Proficiency in one or more scripting languages: Python, Shell, Perl, Ruby, Batch, or YAML
Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, Gitlow workflows, and DevOps and Agile methodologies
Background in database administration and SWCM tool administration
Base Pay Range for: CO applicants is $150,931.00 - $211,303.05
WA applicants is $164,652.00 - $230,512.80

Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing, vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.
Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
