AM Applications Engineer - Early Career (2027 Starts) at Blue Origin | LAYIQ

Minimum of a B.S. degree or higher in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering and Aerospace Engineering or related field.
Will have earned their degree within the last year and able to start by Fall 2027.
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Interest in or exposure to additive manufacturing technologies
Must be physically able to: Support production floor activities onsite to keep parts flowing
Ability to support onsite in Kent
Support off hours for production if required
Desired Qualifications: Coursework or project experience related to additive manufacturing
Exposure to laser powder bed fusion printing or similar technologies
Foundational understanding of engineering concepts and design for manufacturing
Familiarity with CAD design (Creo), support design (Magics), or simulation packages (MSC, ANSYS)
Interest in metallic additive manufacturing and design
Knowledge of design for additive manufacturing principles
Experience with technical documentation or work instructions
Aerospace or rocket engine development interest or coursework
Base Pay Range for: WA applicants is $81,313.00 - $113,837.85

Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing, vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.
Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
