Technician- Lunar Fluids/Avionics Test and Launch Ops Sr at Blue Origin | LAYIQ

Familiarity with ground support and environmental control equipment, launch/test environments, and range safety protocols in aerospace, defense, or space operations .
Direct e xperience safely working with Gaseous oxygen systems, High Pressure systems, Vacuum systems, and High voltage systems.
Demonstrated effectiveness executing complex operational protocols and multi-step checklists in safety- and quality-critical settings .
Technical certification, trade school, or relevant degree (e.g., aerospace, mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering/technology)
Participation in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) in team environments .
Experience supporting new product introduction or transition from development to production
Proficiency with instrumentation and data acquisition systems, including configuration, calibration, and monitoring (such as pressure, temperature, strain, and environmental sensors)
Certified in IPC/WHMA-A-620 Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies, J-STD-001 Solder (including Space Addendum)
Direct experience with fluid systems, avionics integration, and aerospace launch vehicle or spacecraft assembly.
Skilled in assembly, inspection, mate/ demate , and fabrication of wiring harnesses and electromechanical hardware—including use of crimping tools and related techniques
Proven ability to deliver accurate, high-quality work and communicate effectively while collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders
Experience with industrial sewing Straight Stitch and Bartack .

Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing, vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.
Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
