Avionics Harnessing Component Test Engineer II at Blue Origin | LAYIQ

5+ years of applicable industry experience (launch vehicles, satellites, aircraft, defense electronics).
Direct experience with hermetic connector qualification (helium leak, thermal cycling, environmental conditions).
Experience with Environmental Testing (proof, leak, vibration, thermal, etc.) per SMC-S-016, MIL-STD-1540, MIL-STD-810, or DO-160G.
Experience with DO-254 or other safety-critical airborne / human-rated qualification frameworks
Strong knowledge of harness components such as connectors, contacts, wire types, harness provisions
Statistical methods for test design including DOE (Design of Experiments), sample size justification, Weibull analysis, and reliability modeling.
Failure analysis experience
Experience with launch vehicle, human-rated spacecraft, or satellite harness qualification
Familiarity with JIRA, Smartsheet, Power BI, Windchill.
Base Pay Range for: WA applicants is $99,201.00 - $138,880.35

Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing, vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.
Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
