Instrumentation & Controls Design Engineer III at Blue Origin | LAYIQ

BS in Electrical/Computer/Software Engineering or equivalent discipline 5 - 10 years’ experience with industrial or aerospace control system design or operation
Ability to design I&C systems using AutoCAD Electrical schematic and panel layout tools.
Demonstrate knowledge of instrumentation theory coupled with integration into data acquisition hardware (National Instrument, Dewesoft, or similar)
Experience working with instrumentation: static and dynamic pressure, cryogenic temperature sensors (silicon diodes or RTDs), LVDTs, and accelerometers
Software development in PLC ladder Logic, Labview, C++ or Python
Desired: MS degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience with video monitoring systems (webcam, 3G-SDI, high speed, infrared, etc.)
Design experience in noise reduction, shielding, and analog and digital filtering to provide high fidelity measurements
Experience with analog circuit design using Altium design tools focusing on signal conditioning of high frequency instrumentation
Tuning closed loop control systems

Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
