Technician - Lunar Avionics | A Shift at Blue Origin | LAYIQ

5-7 years of experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly fabrication, CCA or PCBA repair or component replacement.
Experience with RF assemblies, camera optical systems and LIDAR systems.
Clean Room Experience; specifically, Class 7 Operations
Certification in and/or knowledge of IPC standards for assembly and inspection to include J-STD/J-STD Space, 610, 7711/7721 Rework and 620/620 Space Addendum.
Laser experience: similar to optical system, laser safety, and laser output characterization measurements.
Perform calibration and characterization of imaging systems: MTF, distortion, color accuracy, stray light performance
Perform assembly and fine alignment of optical elements: Inspect optical components for defects such as scratches, chips, and contamination, and identify non-conformances.
Apply adhesives and epoxies.
Verify optical performance using test equipment (lens alignment stations, alignment telescopes, theodolites, interferometers, collimators).
Experience and capability to interface with Microsoft Office Suite, electronic work orders and configuration management systems.
Experience with documenting non-conformances and carrying out dispositioned repairs.
Base Pay Range for: WA applicants is $29.91 - $41.87

Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing, vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.
Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
