PT Tutor at Ivy Tech Community College | LAYIQ

Associate or Baccalaureate degree preferred (or in progress) in subject tutored or closely related field with professional experience, or strong GPA in subject with faculty recommendation in subject-matter area.
Computer literacy and knowledge in word processing programs required
Possess a working understanding of college level skills needed by students
Willing to assist students in specialization area, Knowledge Assessment, and basic infrastructure questions (i.e. MyIvy and IvyLearn)
Ability to exercise important human relations skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with college students, faculty, and staff
Must possess strong level of responsibility, reliability, punctuality, and verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Knows and is able to utilize professional development opportunities and training provided through Ivy Tech
Is sensitive to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of the College students and employees
Fully supports the College’s mission and strategic plan initiatives.
Official college transcripts required upon hiring, and employment contingent on acceptable criminal background checks.
