Position Overview:
The Non-Sterile Lab Support Pharmacy Technician will play a crucial role in supporting our day-to-day sterile lab operations and receive exposure to various workflows within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for providing excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lab Support & Compound Prep: Assist compounders with essential prep tasks, including bottling compounded products (manually or via automation), labeling finished goods, counting capsules, and washing equipment.
- Packaging & Quality Control: Pack finished non-sterile dosage forms (pumps, Topiclicks, sublingual bottles/bags, capsules, and troches) accurately in compliance with Strive quality standards.
- Inventory & Supply Management: Monitor, restock, and stage laboratory supplies, components, and packaging materials to maintain adequate stock levels and prevent operational delays; flag low stock, discrepancies, or damaged materials.
- Cleaning & Compliance: Execute daily, weekly, and monthly lab cleaning and housekeeping activities in strict adherence to Strive SOPs and USP / guidelines; strictly follow all garbing, PPE, and hazardous drug handling protocols.
- Documentation & Team Support: Complete data entry in LifeFile and spreadsheets, and perform other duties as assigned to support overall team operations.
Required Qualifications:
Education & Licensure:
High School Diploma/GED; active Arizona Pharmacy Technician License (or willingness to obtain one prior to start).
Skills & Abilities:
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Physical & Compliance Requirements:
Able to wear all required PPE (including masks, gloves, gowns, hairnets, beard covers, safety goggles, and shoe covers) and lift/move lab items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a pharmacy or lab environment
Work Environment:
This position is primarily based in an onsite work environment. The role requires regular periods of sitting, standing, and computer use, with occasional lifting as needed. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities
Hourly Pay Rate
$19 — $21 USD
