Construction Engineer, Cheyenne Mountain SFS, Colorado Springs, CO

Technologist, Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Engineer to join our dynamic team at Cheyenne Mountain SFS. The ideal candidate will have a foundation in civil or electrical or mechanical/structural engineering principles and practices, with a focus on construction planning and management. This role requires excellent attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop civil/electrical/structural/mechanical engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Prepare construction estimates and project budgets.
• Draft detailed engineering plans and specifications.
• Collaborate with team members and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage construction activities to ensure timely completion within budget constraints.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation to communicate project progress and findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering OR construction management OR equivalent related experience.
• Three (3) or more years’ experience developing plans, solutions, and civil/electrical/structural designs for facility and infrastructure projects and systems.
• Ability to obtain a clearance at the level of Secret (must be a U.S. citizen for eligibility).
• Desired: Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
