Tasks :
This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by ensuring the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position is also responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Duties :
Assists the Maintenance Supervisor in organizing and directing the work of the maintenance mechanics. Performs all duties of processing mechanics. Operates machine shop equipment such as the lathe, milling machine, shears, and brakes, and welding to fabricate chutes chain guards and processing equipment components or other plant needs. Diagnosis and repairs mechanical problems related to processing equipment. Performs simple troubleshooting of electrical components.
