You'll be a hands on creative leader to our Marketing team, owning work from early concept through polished execution across campaigns, web, lifecycle, product launches, events, and more. You'll help evolve Mudflap's brand as we grow while creating work that's distinctive, approachable, and authentic to the trucking community.
This isn't a role where you'll wait for a perfectly packaged creative brief. We're looking for someone curious about the customer and business problem behind the ask, comfortable developing a point of view, and excited to iterate when data or feedback tells us something new.
This role is based in Palo Alto, CA and involves a hybrid work approach, balancing in-office collaboration with the ability to work remotely.
Own marketing design projects from concept through execution and launch across web, paid, lifecycle, social, product launches, events, and print.
Translate complex products and ideas into simple, compelling visual stories that resonate with our customers.
Lead in-house designers, and partner closely with Marketing functions, agencies and cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop creative solutions — not just execute briefs.
Help evolve Mudflap’s visual identity while maintaining a consistent, scalable brand experience across channels.
Use customer insights, performance data, and testing to iterate and improve creative, balancing high-quality craft with speed.
Leverage AI and emerging creative tools to accelerate ideation, process and execution, while improving the systems and workflows that help Marketing move faster.
5+ years of marketing, brand, or visual design experience, ideally in a growth-stage or fast-paced technology environment.
Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, visual craft, and multichannel marketing design across digital and physical touchpoints.
Proven ability to own projects end-to-end, from brief and creative concepts through final production.
Strong understanding of how design supports customer, marketing, and business objectives, with the ability to navigate feedback and changing priorities.
Fluency in Figma and modern creative tools; experience with Webflow, Framer, motion, lifecycle/email, and AI creative tools is a plus.
Resourceful, highly collaborative, and comfortable moving quickly and independently in ambiguity.
Bonus for fintech, marketplace, logistics, or B2B/B2C technology experience.
The salary range for this role is $144,000 - $160,000. This information reflects a base salary range for this position based on current market data, which may be subject to change as new market data becomes available. The candidate's skills, experience, and other relevant factors will determine the exact compensation.
