Description
Captivation Software is looking for a mid level software engineer who will enhance a Spring Boot application that processes large volumes of operational data while evolving the platform through containerization, Kubernetes deployment, and modern software engineering practices. The successful candidate will join a highly collaborative team responsible for developing and maintaining a Spring Boot application with a MariaDB backend that processes terabytes of enterprise data each week.
The team delivers software while preparing the application for containerized deployment on Kubernetes. The ideal candidate is passionate about modern software engineering and enjoys building scalable Java applications that process large volumes of data while leveraging Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, relational databases, and container technologies. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence technical design decisions and contribute to the continued modernization of a mission-critical system.
