We are seeking an Associate Scientist to support oral solid dosage formulation development at the client's facility in New Brunswick, NJ. This hands-on position involves laboratory and pilot plant activities, formulation studies, material characterization, and product testing.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development and optimization of oral formulations through experimental studies, batch processing, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory and pilot plant activities supporting oral solid dosage formulation development; Perform oral product batch processing, material characterization, and formulation testing; Support formulation development involving blending, granulation, compression, and encapsulation; Design and execute experimental formulation studies; Analyze experimental results and support formulation and process optimization; Apply design of experiments (DOE) approaches and technical problem-solving to formulation development.
