Position Summary

The Host/Hostess is responsible for creating a positive first impression by welcoming guests into the restaurant, managing reservations and waitlists, seating guests, and providing menus. This role sets the tone for a great dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally as they arrive.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements to ensure efficient service flow.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host stand and entrance.
• Monitor dining room flow and coordinate with servers to ensure balanced seating.
• Answer the phone and assist with inquiries, takeout orders, and reservations.
• Assist with guest needs and address any concerns promptly and courteously.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
