Fashion Content Manager - AI, Social & Production at Wantable | LAYIQ

Creative Design & Execution
Work closely with the Content Director to translate content strategy and creative direction into strong visual executions across paid, organic social, ecommerce, email/SMS, live, and other digital channels.
Serve as the Content Director’s right hand in moving creative priorities, productions, and deliverables forward.
Design and execute content from concept through final delivery, including static graphics, digital ads, social content, email assets, ecommerce creative, campaign graphics, and supporting live content.
Help with day-to-day creative production, determining what needs to be designed, shot, edited, or iterated based on campaign and performance priorities.
Develop concepts, layouts, shot lists, scripts, and visual approaches that bring campaign ideas to life.
Maintain a strong and consistent visual point of view across channels while adapting creative to the needs of each platform.
Manage and mentor content contributors while remaining deeply involved in designing and creating the work.
Partner with Creative, Growth, Social, Ecommerce, Merchandising, Styling, and the Photo Studio to execute content efficiently.
Maintain creative workflows, style guides, templates, testing documentation, and production processes.
Team Leadership & Development
Provide day-to-day leadership, mentorship, and creative guidance to assigned content team members, including helping prioritize and direct workload based on business, campaign, and performance needs.
Partner with the Content Director to translate broader content priorities into clear assignments, timelines, and expectations for the team.
Develop team members through regular feedback, coaching, and hands-on creative direction, helping strengthen their design, content creation, production, AI, and performance marketing skills.
Review work in progress and provide clear, actionable feedback that improves both the quality of the creative and the individual’s ability to work more independently over time.
Help identify opportunities for team members to take on greater ownership, expand their skill sets, and grow within their roles.
Maintain visibility into workload and capacity, proactively flagging competing priorities, bandwidth constraints, or areas where additional direction is needed.
Model strong creative judgment, ownership, communication, and adaptability while remaining an active hands-on contributor alongside the team.
AI Design & Content Creation
Own the day-to-day creation and design of AI-generated content, using generative AI to increase the speed, scale, and diversity of Wantable’s creative output.
Create AI-generated and AI-enhanced fashion imagery for paid, organic social, ecommerce, landing pages, email/SMS, and campaign storytelling.
Translate direction from the Content Director into polished AI executions that maintain Wantable’s visual identity and design standards.
Combine AI-generated assets with traditional graphic design, typography, layout, retouching, and compositing to create finished creative—not simply raw AI outputs.
Develop repeatable workflows for generating, editing, extending, retouching, compositing, and iterating AI creative.
Use AI to rapidly create new versions of successful creative through different environments, compositions, layouts, styling executions, and formats.
Work directly with physical samples to ensure AI-generated content accurately represents garment color, fabrication, fit, proportions, and product details.
Partner with Sample and Studio teams to capture product assets needed for AI creation.
Assist with sample check-in and capture iPhone product photography when needed to accelerate AI production.
Maintain high standards for product accuracy, realism, composition, styling, and overall design quality.
Stay current on emerging AI image, video, design, editing, and automation tools.
Performance Design & Daily Content Creation
Partner with the Content Director and Paid Media team to identify top-performing creative that should be redesigned, iterated, reshot, or expanded.
Design new static and video executions based on winning creative, testing different layouts, hooks, messaging, typography, imagery, product callouts, and visual treatments.
Use performance insights to inform design decisions while maintaining strong brand standards.
Shoot new static and video content regularly based on proven concepts.
Produce a high volume of visually diverse static and video creative rather than relying on a single execution or format.
Experiment with creator-style content, employee-led videos, product demonstrations, styling content, testimonials, behind-the-scenes footage, fashion education, and other social-first formats.
Capture quick-turn content using an iPhone.
Establish regular monitoring cadences to evaluate creative and campaign performance across metrics such as CTR, CVR, CPA/CPO, engagement, retention signals, and other relevant KPIs. Develop fluency in the numbers to understand not only what is performing, but why. Clearly communicate creative learnings, identify patterns and opportunities, and present data-backed rationale to the Content Director, Paid Media team, and other stakeholders to inform what should be designed, tested, iterated, or created next.
Maximize every shoot by capturing additional hooks, formats, crops, stills, B-roll, and assets that can be turned into future creative.
Social Design, Video & On-Camera Content
Work closely with the Social Media Manager to design, shoot, and create requested organic social content.
Translate campaign creative into social-first graphics, video, stories, reels, and other platform-native executions.
Step in to design or produce social content when Photo Studio capacity is limited or when an idea needs to move quickly.
Identify timely, low-lift opportunities to create visually compelling social content without requiring a traditional production.
Be comfortable appearing on camera and serving as on-camera talent when the concept calls for it.
Participate in styling videos, fashion education, product demonstrations, employee-led content, behind-the-scenes content, paid creative, and other brand storytelling.
Understand how to communicate naturally on camera in a way that feels conversational, confident, and appropriate for the Wantable customer.
Live Content & Production
Help concept, visually develop, film, produce, and participate in live content and live shopping experiences.
Partner with Social, Styling, and Creative to develop concepts, visual direction, graphics, and run-of-show plans for Lives.
Design supporting graphics and visual assets needed before, during, and after live content.
Coordinate product, styling, talking points, talent, technical setup, and filming needs.
Be comfortable appearing on Lives when appropriate, demonstrating product, discussing styling, or helping guide the conversation.
Help evolve Wantable’s live content into an engaging, visually cohesive, useful, and shoppable extension of the brand.
Design, Photo + Video Editing
Bring a strong graphic design foundation and be able to independently step into creative needs across paid, organic social, ecommerce, email/SMS, live, and other digital channels.
Design polished, on-brand creative in Adobe Photoshop, Canva, and other creative tools, including static graphics, digital ads, social content, email assets, ecommerce graphics, promotional creative, and live-supporting assets.
Translate creative direction, campaign concepts, and performance learnings into compelling visual executions.
Adapt core campaign ideas across channels and formats while maintaining a cohesive look and feel.
Work comfortably within established brand systems and templates while bringing forward new layouts and design approaches.
Apply a strong understanding of typography, hierarchy, composition, color, imagery, layout, and digital-first design to all creative.
Edit short-form video for paid, organic social, ecommerce, email/SMS, live, and other digital channels.
Combine footage, typography, graphics, product imagery, motion, and sound into polished final products.

Strong graphic design foundation with demonstrated ability to translate creative direction into polished, channel-appropriate visual work.
Hands-on experience creating static, video, social, ecommerce, email/SMS, paid media, and live-supporting content.
Demonstrated creative judgment, prioritization, communication, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Fluency with performance metrics and the ability to use CTR, CVR, CPA/CPO, engagement, retention signals, and related KPIs to inform creative decisions.
Working proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Canva, short-form video editing, mobile/iPhone content capture, and generative AI image/video/design workflows.
Ability to build repeatable AI and production workflows while maintaining product accuracy, realism, brand standards, and responsible human review.
Comfort appearing on camera and participating in live, product demonstration, styling, and brand storytelling content when needed.
Must live in the Milwaukee area or be willing to relocate and work in person at Wantable's Milwaukee headquarters and/or Photo Studio 4–5 days per week.
Nice To Have
Working knowledge of Apple technology.
Familiarity with Google products (Drive, Gmail and Docs).
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field. An exceptional portfolio and directly relevant experience matter more than pedigree.
Experience within fashion, ecommerce, DTC, retail, or another performance-oriented consumer brand.
Experience translating one campaign or creative idea across paid media, email, web, social, and physical touchpoints.
Experience developing creative that has been tested and iterated based on measurable performance.
