Role Overview

Training The Street is seeking a highly organised, client-friendly and commercially aware Client & Business Development Manager to support the growth, delivery and management of training programs across APAC and the Middle East. Working closely with the Head of Business Development and the wider APAC team, the role involves managing selected client relationships, responding to incoming requests, shaping tailored training solutions, preparing proposals, coordinating delivery and supporting regional marketing activity.

This is not a purely administrative role, nor a pure cold-sales role. It requires someone who combines strong organisation with client confidence, commercial judgement and solution-selling awareness, and who can help drive regional growth through excellent relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

• Client & Account Support
• Manage selected client accounts and develop relationships across APAC and the Middle East, with senior support where needed
• Act as a reliable day-to-day contact for client queries, follow-ups and program coordination
• Ensure clients receive timely, professional and well-organised responses
• Build strong client relationships through a positive, energetic and polished communication style
• Business Development, Solution Sales & Regional Growth Support
• Support targeted business development activity across the region, including follow-ups with existing clients and warm prospects
• Use a consultative, solution-sales mindset to understand client training needs, ask thoughtful questions and help position the most relevant TTS capabilities
• Work with regional and global marketing colleagues to design campaigns that generate new client conversations
• Identify referral opportunities and areas of potential revenue growth by speaking with existing clients and working through relevant networks
• Convert incoming enquiries into well-managed opportunities by maintaining momentum, coordinating internal input and ensuring clients receive clear, commercially thoughtful responses
• Research target firms, maintain prospect lists and support outreach around priority sectors, markets and training themes
• Proposal & Commercial Support
• Prepare draft proposals, agendas and client documents based on direction from the Head of Business Development
• Translate client requirements into practical proposal structures, program options and follow-up materials, taking direction from the Head of Business Development while developing independent client judgement over time
• Coordinate contract paperwork and help ensure signed agreements are completed before delivery
• Keep Salesforce updated with accounts, contacts, opportunities, proposal status and program details
• Program Management
• Coordinate the full program lifecycle from confirmed opportunity to delivery
• Ensure materials, trainer instructions, participant information and logistics are set up properly
• Work closely with CSMs, trainers and internal teams to ensure programs run smoothly
• Attend selected day-one program kick-offs where useful, especially for important regional clients
• Coordinate post-program feedback reports, client follow-up notes, invoicing and internal debriefs
• Regional Marketing, Events & Public Courses
• Support regional marketing efforts across APAC and the Middle East, including promotional programs, campaigns and events targeting existing clients and prospects
• Support the planning and promotion of in-region public modelling courses
• Coordinate event logistics, client invitations, registration follow-up, marketing materials and post-event actions
• Track attendance, client feedback and follow-up opportunities from free events, campaigns and public courses
• Trainer & Internal Coordination
• Brief trainers on client requirements, program context and delivery expectations
• Ensure internal handovers are clear and that CSMs have the information they need
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals, training engagements and follow-up actions
• Support regional reporting on pipeline, confirmed programs, feedback and client engagement activity
• Key Skills & Experience
• Essential
• 3–7 years' experience in program management, account management, client service, training coordination, professional services or sales support
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• High proficiency in Word & PowerPoint (Written proposal and presentation development is critical)
• Experience using Salesforce (or similar CRM systems)
• Confidence supporting business development activity, consultative selling, client follow-up, marketing campaigns or events
• A strong service mindset, with the confidence and personality to build positive client relationships
• Commercial awareness - able to connect regional priorities, client opportunities and marketing activity to pipeline development
• Existing right to work in the UAE, or eligibility to obtain a UAE work visa
• Helpful Experience
• Exposure to financial markets, banking, asset management, sovereign wealth funds or professional training environments
• Experience supporting senior stakeholders or regional leadership
• Experience planning events, webinars, public courses or professional programmes
• Arabic language skills are helpful but not essential
