Mortgage Document Specialist

Overview

This position provides clerical support for production, compliance, and quality control functions within mortgage activities. Receives and allocates new loans, mail, and other deliverables within the department. Ensures necessary documentation is ordered, updated, and distributed correctly. Updates department systems with crucial information for lending activities. Performs all tasks to support and facilitate the daily workflow for department associates.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Loan Processing - Receives, organizes, and distributes appraisals according to regulatory requirements. Enters all necessary information into department lending systems. Identifies changes to appraisals that require re-disclosure to the applicants.
• Quality Control - Assists quality control efforts by following up on internal control reports. Works appraised value change reports to move files forward or into review, ensuring compliance with regulatory time frames.
• Business Support - Serves as key operator for office equipment, receives and distributes mail, notifies appropriate vendor when service is needed, and performs a variety of other administrative tasks to ensure office runs smoothly.
