Gallo Mechanical is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accountant to join our Accounting Department. The Senior Accountant will play an important role in the month-end close process while supporting construction accounting, reconciliations, and other key accounting activities.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who combines strong technical accounting skills with excellent organization, attention to detail, and a continuous-improvement mindset. This is a hands-on role that requires the ability to work independently, collaborate effectively across departments, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
Prepare and maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and investigate and resolve variances or discrepancies.
Maintain Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules, ensuring accurate tracking of project costs, billings, and progress.
