• Cook to join our dining services team. Our small, close-knit assisted living community features
• 35 apartments and 41 licensed beds

, allowing our Cook to get to know residents personally and make each mealtime feel special.

The ideal candidate will take pride in preparing delicious, nutritious meals while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen. Responsibilities,: Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes, menus, and dietary requirements (including modified diets such as low sodium, diabetic, or texture-modified diets)

• Ensure food is properly portioned, plated, and presented in an appetizing manner
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines in compliance with state, local, and facility regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, equipment, and food storage areas
• Assist with inventory management, including stocking, labeling, and rotating food supplies (FIFO method)
• Collaborate with dietary managers, nursing staff, and other kitchen team members to accommodate residents’ dietary needs and preferences
• Monitor food quality and temperature to ensure safety and consistency
• Participate in kitchen cleaning schedules and deep cleaning tasks
• Support special events, holidays, and catered meals as required

Qualifications: Must have Cook experience
