Social Worker - Child Protection

Liquid Personnel is recruiting for its client for a Children’s Social Worker to join the Child Protection Team, based in the West Midlands.

What will your responsibilities be?

As a Social Worker within the Child Protection Team, you will:

Safeguard children and young people who may be at risk of abuse, neglect, exploitation, or other forms of harm.

Assess the needs, risks, and circumstances of children and families to inform decision-making.

Develop, implement, and review child protection and safeguarding plans.

Work collaboratively with parents, carers, schools, healthcare professionals, and partner agencies.

Undertake statutory visits, assessments, and interventions in line with relevant legislation and guidance.

Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential case records and reports.

Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings, case conferences, and court proceedings where required.

Provide support, guidance, and signposting to appropriate services and resources.

Manage a caseload effectively while ensuring positive outcomes for children and families.

Promote the safety, welfare, development, and best interests of children and young people at all times.

Qualifications and Experience

• To be successful in this role you must have: Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
