The Marketing Coordinator supports the CUS Fashion and Retail Association’s digital presence by helping plan, create, and publish engaging content across its platforms. Working closely with the VP Marketing team and Design Coordinator, this role supports event promotions, social media campaigns, and ongoing community engagement.
- Time Commitment: 4-6 Hours/Week
- Key Responsibilities: Support the planning and execution of social media and event campaigns
- Write engaging captions and promotional copy for Instagram, LinkedIn, newsletters, and other platforms
- Help manage the content calendar and ensure deliverables are completed on time
- Collaborate with the Design Coordinator and Visual Media team to develop campaign content
- Assist with filming short-form content and covering club events when required
- Research social media, fashion, and retail trends to contribute new content ideas
- Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements based on engagement insights
Qualifications: Strong written communication and copywriting skills
- Interest in social media, marketing, fashion, and retail trends
- Creative thinker who can contribute engaging content and campaign ideas
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable collaborating with a team and responding to feedback
- Basic experience with content creation or video editing is an asset
- Learning Outcomes: Gain practical experience planning and executing social media campaigns
- Strengthen copywriting, content creation, and digital marketing skills
- Learn to interpret engagement data and apply insights to future campaigns
- Develop collaboration, communication, and time-management skills
- Build a deeper understanding of fashion and retail marketing
- Create portfolio-ready work from event promotions and social media campaigns
