The VP Mentorship works closely with the other portfolios to coordinate and direct the Mentorship Program.
- Time Commitment: Approx. 5-10 hrs/week throughout the school year (Up to 12 hrs/week during busy times)
- Term of Employment: September 2026 - April 2027
- Main Responsibilities: Works closely with the external team to contact potential mentors for the mentorship program
- Lead the Mentorship program - HR Connect
- Review mentee applications and connect with suitable mentors
- Organize an opening and closing event for mentors and mentees
Host workshops and events specific to each Mentorship Program.
Organize an event at the end of the year to thank participants and mentors
Attend weekly executive team meetings
Qualifications: Past event planning experiences is a key asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Able to work independently and in a group setting - thrives in a team-based environment
