Job Description
Manager, RF & Microwave Design Engineering – Advanced SSPAs & Space‑Grade Modules
If you’re energized by solving complex RF and microwave challenges that support critical defense and space missions, this role puts you at the heart of that impact. Teledyne Microwave Solutions brings over five decades of innovation in high‑performance MW/RF components and assemblies, trusted by aerospace, EW, radar, and satcom customers worldwide.
As the manager of our RF & Microwave Design Engineering team, you’ll guide talented engineers, drive advanced architectures, and help bring next‑generation solid‑state power amplifiers and multifunction modules from concept to mission‑ready hardware.
Required: Deep expertise in RF, microwave, and millimeter‑wave devices, circuits, and systems.
Required: Hands‑on experience designing high‑frequency receivers, transmitters, and signal‑generation circuits.
Required: Strong lab skills, including tuning, alignment, and use of RF test equipment.
Required: Ability to lead engineering teams and manage multiple concurrent projects.
Required: 15+ years in the microwave/RF industry.
Required: BSEE; Advantage: MSEE.
Advantage: Experience with space‑grade products and EM simulation tools (HFSS, CST, Sonnet).
Required: U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Security Clearance.

Compensation
$177,500.00-$236,600.000
The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
