Category Manager
The Category Manager at OneMain is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end sourcing process within their assigned Procurement category This includes developing and executing category strategies that optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance while ensuring alignment with the company's overall business objectives. The Category Manager will lead supplier management relationships, negotiate favorable terms, and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to drive category performance improvements.
The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, strategic sourcing expertise, and the ability to manage complex Procurement activities from start to finish.
In the Role:
- Develop and implement category strategies that drive value, cost savings, and quality improvements for the assigned category.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to understand industry trends, supplier capabilities and competitive landscape within the category.
