STV is seeking an Architect for our Buildings group in Douglassville and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The Project Architect is the chief technical architect for the management and creation of construction documents on assigned projects within STV's Pennsylvania architecture practice. The role exists to carry technical responsibility for the drawing set and specifications from Design Development through Construction Documents, ensuring coordinated, code-compliant, buildable documents. It sits at the project-delivery core of the practice, working under a Senior Project Architect and alongside the Design Lead and Design Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- The Project Architect serves as the technical lead for the production of construction documents, including drawings and specifications, on assigned projects. This individual leads and develops the project team, directing technical coordination across all engineering disciplines and outside consultants to produce coordinated, conflict-free documents. The role owns technical detailing, code compliance, and document quality within the assigned scope.
