Landscape Architect at STV | LAYIQ

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
· 8+ years of professional landscape architecture experience, preferably including land development, urban/site design or multidisciplinary project delivery.
· Active Professional Landscape Architect license in good standing.
· Maryland licensure preferred, or ability to obtain Maryland licensure through reciprocity.
· Demonstrated experience taking projects from conceptual design through permitting and construction documentation.
· Strong understanding of site planning, grading, planting design, hardscape, materials and landscape construction.
· Experience coordinating with civil engineering, architecture and other design disciplines.
· Strong written, verbal and visual communication skills.
· Ability to manage multiple assignments while maintaining design and technical quality.
Technical Experience
Strong working knowledge of several of the following: · AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D
· SketchUp
· Adobe Creative Suite
· Microsoft Office
· MicroStation
Experience with Land F/X, Enscape, Revit or GIS is a plus.
Experience with Maryland permitting and land-development requirements, including Baltimore City and surrounding jurisdictions, the Maryland Forest Conservation Act, and Mid-Atlantic plant materials, is also valuable.

Location and Work Schedule
This position is based in STV's Owings Mills, Maryland office, the primary home of our Maryland Land Development team.
Following successful completion of a 90-day probationary period, the position is eligible for a hybrid schedule of three days per week in the office and up to two days working remotely, subject to project, client and team needs.
